Update:
Matt's arXiv languished from 2010 - 2014.  However, it has
been reactivated in 2014. The latest postings can be found here.

    Background
    This web page
      is
provided as a resource for researchers in the field of quantum and
      atom
optics.  Every day new papers in the
area are posted in the electronic archives available at http://arXiv.org, mostly in the cond-mat, quant-ph, and physics sections.
There is a significant volume of postings every day which take
      quite
some time to sift through by hand.

    Seeing as I
      do
this every week, I now collate the titles and abstracts of the
      papers
that are of interest to my colleagues and I and send a summary
email to anyone that is interested.  Typically there are
about 35-40 abstracts taken from about 800 each week.
    Summary
    The
      weekly
mailing mostly occurs on Mondays or Tuesdays, and will contain a
      selection of
papers from the past week of postings to cond-mat, quant-ph, and
physics archives.  I try to pick up all new and replaced
theoretical and experimental papers relevant to ultra-cold Bose
      and
Fermi gases and nonequilibrium quantum systems, as well as some in
the area of quantum optics.  This
selection is biased by my own interests, for
which I apologise in advance but there isn't much I can do about
that!  Occasionally I fall a little bit behind, for which I
      hope
you can forgive me for in advance.
    How to
      subscribe
    Visit this
      web
      page:

and enter your email address.  You will get a email that you
      will
have to respond to in order to confirm you subscription.  You
      will
be asked to choose a password so that you can manage your own
subscription options.  The list is configured so that I am
      the
only person who can post to it, and I will not share the list of
      email
      addresses with anyone.

    If that
      proves
too much for you, send me an email (which is listed on my home page) and I can add
      you
      to the list manually.
