• As always, there are three lectures this week

• Tutorials WILL be held this week, and assignment 6 is due in by friday afternoon

• the additional contact hour WILL be held this week.
• This week, we'll work through all of Section 7 of the notes, and maybe start on Section 8.
• Counting down to midsemester exam... it's scheduled for Saturday April 15th at St Lucia, and Friday April 14th at Ipswich. A sample exam and solutions to the sample exam will be distributed this week.
• Sample exam gives a very good pointer to the real exam!
• Do not fall behind: we are now more than one half of the way through semester, and almost all the way to the midsemester exam. If you're nervous, or confused, or failing due to math overload, then come and see me!
• tute on Tuesday 12-1 (previously in rooms 69-207 and 5-213) has moved to 67-208 (large room on ground floor of maths building).

• tute on Wednesday 11-12 (previously room 9-816) has moved to 7-G77 (one of the large lecture theatres in Physics building).

• tute on Wednesday 1-2 (previously room 1-E210) has moved to 67-111 (level 1 of the mathematics building).

• if you want to attend at Ipswich: {\bf all classes} on Wednesday and Friday will be held in building 6202 room 1.05, at Ipswich.

Copies of various handouts are available here. Because they include lots of mathematics, they are in a postscript (.ps) format. To be able to display them or print them, you will need a program which can understand postscript. See the bottom of this document for one, for PCs running Windows 95/98.
