This is Slava Vaisman. Welcome to my website. I am a Lecturer at the School of Mathematics and Physics (SMP) at the University of Queensland. My research interests lie at the intersection of applied probability, stochastic simulation, and machine learning. I am also very interested in rare-events, that are of great importance in many areas such as machine learning, operational research, theoretical computer science, optimization and counting. My Google Scholar profile and my CV can be found here: Google Scholar profile and CV.
