Some Highlights

• Over $A2.6 million dollars of competitive research grants mainly from Australian Research Council (ARC) since 1996, including an ARC Queen Elizabeth II Fellowship and seven (7) ARC Discovery/Large Projects.
• 1 book, 1 topical review, 4 book chapters, 193 refereed journal articles, and 10 conference proceeding papers, majority of them published in A* or A ranked journals.
  
• Over 2145 ISI and 3051 Google Scholar citations to the journal articles, and a current h-index of 23 on ISI and 29 on Google Scholar. • Five prestigious Scholarships/Fellowships: Max-Planck-Institut fuer Mathematik Scholarship, Australian Research Council Queen Elizabeth II Fellowship, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Invitation Fellowship, Kyoto University Foundation Fellowship, and Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship.
• Three scientific awards/prizes: K.C. Wong Scientific Research Award (王宽诚科研奖金) (1992), Ying-Tung Fok Prize (霍英东青年教师奖, 研究类) (1989), and China Young Researchers Science and Technology Award (首届中国青年科技奖) (1988).
